Multi-Man Publishing (MMP) has added two new pre-orders to their site. The first of these is “It Never Snows…” which is described as “a monster-SCS Market Garden game”. The other is “The Blitzkrieg Legend”, an Operational Combat Series (OCS) simulation of the German invasion of France, Belgium, and Holland.

Victory Point Games has been busy lately, posting the following news items:
- Gorlitz 20, an expansion kit to the Dresden 20 and Katzbach 20 games, is now available. It is based on a battle that almost occurred during Napoleon’s final campaign in Germany.
- The Horror Pack contains two games, Forlorn: Hope and the as-yet-unreleased States of Siege™ game Dawn of the Zeds. Dawn of the Zeds will be officially released on August 11 and can be purchased individually then.
- Gettysburg: The Wheatfield has been released. This miniatures boardgame is the first in the Tattered Flags series, a Kriegspiel-style historical miniatures boardgame depicting the battles of the American Civil War.

Legion Wargames Production Update
On May 4, Legion Wargames posted a production update on their upcoming wargame titles.
According to the update:
- Slouch Hats & Eggshells final artwork is being wrapped up and production will begin mid-June 2011.
- Hell Over Korea, a module for B-29 Superfortress, is having its counter artwork and map created.
- Tonkin is in the final “wrapping up” stages, with artwork 95% complete.
- Adobe Walls is waiting its turn and should undergo some playtesting this summer.

Master and Commander Frigates Coming
Capitan Games announced that they are working on Master & Commander FRIGATES, a new game based on their naval rules system. They have scaled down and focused on the fourth, fifth, sixth, and unrated ships of the combat navies of the 18th century and Napoleonic Wars. Players will be able to recreate the naval combat of the super-frigates, rasees, frigates, corvettes, sloops of war, and cutters. They are working in ships from the Royal Navy, Spain, France, Dutch, and United States navies.
Supreme Ruler 2020 Updated, Price Reduced
The Paradox Interactive web site announced on Tuesday that the price of Supreme Ruler 2020 has been reduced to $9.99 across all digital portals. In Supreme Ruler 2020, players must take control of a nation on the brink of anarchy and take it to world domination.
Update 8 for the game features a number of improvements, enhancements, and additions. These include 20 new MOD scenarios, new units and technologies, dozens of new AI additions, new unit commands, and game performance improvements.
Oregon Consimgames Playtest at ConsimWorld Expo
The Oregon Consim Games web site announced a playtest of their newest simulation "1914: Offensive a outrance, The Western Front in WWI" at Consimworld Expo in Tempe in June. This will be the third time they’ve playtested this title there. It’s a brigade/division level model of the battles fought in Belgium, France, and Germany from August through mid-November 1914. The playtest spots are filled but attendees can drop by to take a look.
League of Augsburg News
The League of Augsburg announced that Beneath the Lily Banners 2nd Edition will be available for pre-order soon. The first edition is still available in PDF format.
Mount & Blade With Fire and Sword Goes Gold
Paradox Interactive announced that its Mount & Blade – With Fire and Sword has gone gold. It will be released on May 3, 2011. Players may serve as mercenaries or join one of the five factions to conquer, destroy, or create empires. Fire and Sword builds on the foundation of Mount & Blade Warband, adding new features such as firearms and grenades, multiple endings, enhanced siege mechanics, 15 new multiplayer maps, and a setting based on Nobel Prize winner Henry Sienkiewicz’s novel "With Fire and Sword". It is available for preorder from several digital portals for $14.99.

Matrix Posts Screenshots for Advanced Tactics: Gold
Matrix Games has posted additional screenshots for Advanced Tactics: Gold, which is approaching release. The Gold edition gives players a more powerful game editor, an improved random game engine, new features and abilities, and more. It includes an updated manual and an improving wiki. Shrapnel Announces Battle Group Commander
Shrapnel Games announced a new episodic series of modern warfare simulations for the PC, Battle Group Commander. Battle Group Commander: Episode One comes from ProSIM Company, and focuses pits a battle group (consisting of armor, infantry, artillery, and other assets) against a Soviet-style enemy in the Salisbury Plain Training Area of England. The game uses the same engine as ProSIM’s Air Assault Task Force game, and reportedly is as close to a professional grade simulation as can be purchased commercially.

War In Europe Windows Edition is Being Printed
According to the Decision Games web site, The War in Europe Windows Edition manual has been sent to the printer. The wraps, boxes, and CDs will be printed next. Decision Games encourages pledge customers to get their confirmation and checks in quickly so their shipment isn’t delayed. Orders will reportedly continue to be accepted at the pledge price until shipping starts (expected to be the week of March 23, 2009).

“Hack in the Dark” Coming March 1
The Classical Hack web site announced that “Hack in the Dark” is planned for a March 1, 2009, release. Hack in the Dark is a “fast play game system following in the style of Classical Hack Second Edition for period play in the Dark Ages 250 to 1000 A.D.” A PDF of the introduction to the rules is available for download free on the Classical Hack site.
