Conan for iOS, Expendables 2, Torchwood Miracle Day

The “On the Horizon” section at the bottom of the home page for Paradox Entertainment contains links to three interesting titles in development.

Conan Tower of the Elephant is an iPhone game in production.

The Expendables 2 is currently in development, and the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster film The Expendables.

Torchwood: Miracle Day is a new storyline based on the BBC’s popular sci-fi series Torchwood.  In Miracle Day, people around the world stop dying.  The next day, and the next, etc., people keep aging.  They get hurt and get sick, but never die.  The result is an overnight population boom that stretches the Earth’s resources to the limit.   This new series will premiere on STARZ in the United States on July 8 at 10pm ET/PT.

New Shirts from Offworld Designs

The Offworld Designs web site lists two new shirts.  The first is a Serenity Valley shirt in brown, depicting the Serenity Valley logo and the slogan “All gave some, some gave all”.  Unless I miss my guess, this is a reference to the battle discussed in the Firefly TV series and Serenity movie.  The second is a black shirt  depicting a hex-based logo and the words “Cardiff Weevil Retrieval Unit“.  This refers to the BBC series Torchwood.
