Goodman Games Playtesting Dungeon Crawls

Goodman Games is playtesting its Dungeon Crawl Classics titles at a number of game stores over the next few months.  Upcoming dates include San Diego, Iowa City, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Cleveland, TN.  See their site for more information and exact dates.

Their most recent releases include From Here to There, Age of Cthulu 4: Horrors from Yuggoth, DCC 64: Codex of the Damned, The Dungeon Alphabet, and Amethyst: Foundations.

Goodman Games has announced the official Goodman Games 4E Magazine, Level Up.  The first issue is slated for an April release, at a cover price of $1.99.

Goodman Games Offering Holiday Grab Bags

From the folks at Goodman Games comes the following announcement:

Grab bags are back! This year, each grab bag contains triple its stated value in Goodman Games product – so a $100 grab bag contains at least $300 in product at retail value. Product can be a mix of our modules, RPG accessories, miniatures, and card games. Only available until December 31 or supplies run out!

Grab bags in $25, $50, $100, and $200 denominations are being offered.

Frank Frazetta’s Death Dealer to Become RPG

According to the Goodman Games web site, they’ve signed an agreement with the creators of the comic book series “Frank Frazetta’s Death Dealer” to produce an adventure module adaptation called “The Adventures of Frank Frazetta’s Death Dealer: Shadows of Mirahan” under license. The adaptation will use Dungeons and Dragons Fourth Edition game mechanics and will feature cover art by Frank Frazetta.  It’s expected to be released in Spring 2009.

Goodman Games to Release Call of Cthulu Adventures

According to a press release on the Chaosium web site, Chaosium has licensed Goodman Games to publish Call of Cthulu adventure modules for their RPG.  The modules will be published under the line “Age of Cthulu” and will take the Cthulu investigation beyond the 1920s New England seaboard.  The first module, Death in Luxor, is slated for December 2008.

Goodman Games Releases IndyCrawl

The Goodman Games web site has announced the release of IndyCrawl, an Xcrawl adventure that pits heroes against a Gummi Golem and other fun enemies.  This PDF product is an adventure designed for characters level 6-8, and is priced (as of this writing) at $6.99.

Goodman Games previewed its "GM Gems" product last week.  GM Gems is a systems-neutral book of game master inspiration, by posting "Short Encounters for Short Attention Spans" from the book.  It should be available in stores this week or you can order it from their online store.
