Decision Games Needs Magazine Game Play Testers

According to a post on their web site, Decision Games needs some play testers for the magazine games that will appear in upcoming S&T issues. These would be pre-production games, and play testers would be expected to play the game at least six times to completion over a three month period and report in at least monthly on their results. Decision Games Needs Play Testers

The Decision Games web site announced today that they are looking for play testers for some new games they’re working on. Testers will receive pre-production copies of the games and will be required to provide feedback to improve the game play and rules clarity. Play testers will be expected to play the game at least six times to completion over a 2-3 month period with reports once every two weeks. Play testers must have at least one regular opponent. Decision Games Looking for Magazine Game Play Testers

According to an April 17, 2009, post on the Decision Games web site, magazine games intended for future Strategy & Tactics and World at War magazine issues will be available for play testing. “Near-term games will have printed maps and counters while games further out on the schedule will be pre-production, i.e., maps and counter artwork will be complete but with an opportunity for corrections before printing,” the article states. They are seeking “individuals with regular face-to-face opponents and groups/clubs to test the games” and provide feedback to improve the games and rules. Decision Games Looking for Wargame Play Testers

According to the Decision Games web site, the Hurtgen sequel/addition to Wacht am Rhein will be ready for play test at ConSimWorld Expo and later. Those who are interested in testing the game should contact Doc at ccummins@bak.rr.com to sign up for slots at the Expo. Decision Games will also sponsor three groups of four or more players who would like to be involved in regular play testing between June and December 2009. Testing will focus on the main Hurtgen Forest campaign scenario and on additional scenarios for both Hurtgen and Wacht. See the Decision Games web site for more information and slot availability.

The War in Europe Windows Edition Shipping Soon

According to the Decision Games web site, The War in Europe Windows Edition “wraps, boxes, and CDs are in production.” Orders will be accepted at the pledge price until, well, today March 20, 2009. They expect to begin processing payments the week of March 23 and shipping the week of March 30. Click here for more information about the game and a demo. The price displayed on their site as of this writing is $60.00.

War In Europe Windows Edition is Being Printed

According to the Decision Games web site, The War in Europe Windows Edition manual has been sent to the printer. The wraps, boxes, and CDs will be printed next. Decision Games encourages pledge customers to get their confirmation and checks in quickly so their shipment isn’t delayed. Orders will reportedly continue to be accepted at the pledge price until shipping starts (expected to be the week of March 23, 2009).

Boxed Game Update

Highway to the Reich has finished pledge shipping. China: The Middle
Kingdom (CMK) and WITP Extension Kit have finished pledge shipping.
Individual orders of Lightning Poland and the basic fighter deck set of
Flying Circus have shipped.

We are anticipating the last component for Flying Circus Deluxe to
arrive by 15 Aug and are projecting the final game of the season to
take flight during the week of 18 Aug. Flying Circus Deluxe includes
the basic fighter deck (which is already being sold separately in a
Lightning series box), plus the bomber and scout deck, the pilot
mini-deck, the campaign cards, and the Campaign Analysis booklet.
Pledge orders for Flying Circus Deluxe will continue to be processed
until 14 Aug (#11 on the pledge order page).
