Crocodile Games’ Aten Heresy 2009 World Campaign Underway
The Crocodile Games web site has announced the beginning of its 2009 summer campaign, The Aten Heresy. This campaign is set during the time of the Akhenaten Heresy, and the events will help tell the story of this period in the history of Aegyptus. The outcomes of the games will have an impact on the overall course of the campaign and will help shape the history of Aegyptus. The campaign began at KublaCon in California last weekend and will have its grand finale at GenCon Indy in August 2009. Players who participate in the campaign will receive an exclusive miniature – The Mysterious Stranger. A PDF with special campaign rules and background is available for downloading.
WarGods of Aegyptus 2nd Edition Softcover Released
According to the Crocodile Games web site, the WarGods of Aegyptus 2nd Edition Softcover rulebook has arrived and is available in their online store. This rulebook is a “lavishly illustrated” 288-page manual with a 32-page color section including 2 sheets of Command Counters. It’s an updated version of the second edition rules with the latest errata and rules updates added into the text. For those who own the hardcover, a PDF listing all the changes made in the new printing is available for download.
WarGods is a game for 2 or more players that re-creates the battles of ancient mythology using metal miniatures on a tabletop. The rulebook provides all the rules and background needed to play the game.
The book is priced at the time of this writing at $29.95 US and is in stock.
