New Warlord Games Miniatures
Warlord Games has released and re-released a number of miniatures lately, including:
- Waffen-SS Pioniers & Goliath Demolitions Vehicle (new)
- Bolt Action British Airborne Close Quarter Fighters (new)
- Bolt Action M5 Halftrack (re-release)
- Bolt Action Panzer IV Ausf H mit schurzen (re-release)
They’ve also posted previews of several other miniatures.
Recent GW Releases
The Games Workshop (GW) web site recently announced a number of new Warhammer releases in the Tomb Kings range. Specifically, they’re highlighting the Khemrian Warsphinx/Necrosphinx, Tomb Guard, Necropolis Knights, and Sepulchral Stalkers.
They’ve also recently released Grey Knights figures, including the Nemesis Dreadknight.
Cipher Ships Hell Dorado Miniatures
Cipher Studios announced that they have shipped the next wave of Hell Dorado releases to distribution, so they should begin showing up in game stores soon. This wave includes Great Damned One of Wrath, Blade Master Hybrid, Saurav-Geet, Blessed Warriors, Husaym al Din, and Sara Zingaresce. Photos of the assembled, painted miniatures appear on the Cipher Studios web site and the related cards are available in PDF form.
Black Orc Games New Releases
Black Orc Games has released two new 25mm square bases and two minisculpts. The first of the two bases is the brick base, which resembles a section of red brick pavement. The second of the bases looks like larger brick or stone pavers. The Leverite Crystals sculpt would be suitable for a terrain piece, as would the other sculpt, which features a large mushroom.
Enduring Freedom Expansion Offer
Ambush Alley Games is currently taking pre-orders for their Enduring Freedom expansion source book for Force on Force. The first 100 people who pre-order Enduring Freedom will reportedly receive a free 20mm Elhiem Coalition sniper figure sculpted specifically for the release.

Rusted Heroes Previews Black Knight Mini
The Rusted Heroes web site published a preview of their upcoming RHM2010 miniature, The Black Knight. The Black Knight is allied with the Dragon Knights, and was sculpted by Tom Mason. The Black Knight miniature will be supplied with both a warspear and broad sword.
Images of the green figure are posted on the site as well as a work-in-progress painting of a Black Knight miniature.
Wargames Factory Sale and News
The Wargames Factory has published a preview of its Shock Trooper Heavy Weapons miniatures. They’re asking for feedback on the designs, as long as it’s specific and constructive
Wargames Factory is also offering an inventory reduction sale on their War of Spanish Succession miniatures through May 17, 2011. The WSS box sets are being sold at $9.95 per box with no minimum order (you pay shipping). This is approximately 50% off and makes each miniature cost approximately 28 cents.

BattleTech Starter Sets Release May 18
The Classic BattleTech web site announced that Iron Wind Metals is releasing two BattleForce-scale miniatures starter boxes on May 18. BattleForce is the lightning-fast combat BattleTech game that ramps up the classic BattleTech rule set to make for a fast-playing system.
The two sets Iron Wind Metals is releasing include 10-048 BattleForce-scale Starter Box 1 – Inner Sphere and 10-049 BattleForce-scale Starter Box 2 – Clan set. Starter Box 1 features 12 mechs, including the Atlas, Barghest, BattleMaster, Dervish, Emperor, Gallowglass, Legionnaire, Mad Cat MK II, Nexus II, Rifleman, Starslayer, and Wolfhound. Starter Box 2 features 10 mechs, including Hellion Prime, Vixen, Cougar, Jenner IIC, Fenris, Grendel, Shadow Cat, Nova Cat, Mad Cat, and Kodiak.

Chapterhouse Doomseer Iyanar Released
Chapterhouse Studios, which specializes in custom sculpts and bits for Warhammer 40,000 and fantasy games, has released its first full metal miniature – Doomseer Iyanar-Duanna. The piece, pictured here, will be sold for $13.50 and is in 28mm scale with a 25mm base. Each one will come with a sword arm, spear arm, spell casting arm, and pointing arm.
Baccus 6mm Releases Napoleonic Russians
The Baccus 6mm web site announced the release of more Napoleonic Russians miniatures. Set NRU30 features several mounted generals. NRU16 features limber and team. Hussars wearing kiwers and the Pavlovski Grenadiers as well. See their web site for more information.
Aerodrome 2.0 at Gen Con 2011
According to the Aerodrome web site, Aerodrome 2.0 will be shown at Gen Con for the first time this year. Aerodrome is a World War 2 aerial combat game which is simple, easy to learn, and fun to play. Players use wooden cockpit control panels to determine their maneuvers and telescoping poles to simulate altitude for their miniature aircraft.

- All the King’s Men Toy Soldiers has added a new line of Napoleonic Wars (1812-1815) miniatures to their catalog.
- Alternative Armies has released a slew of new miniatures in time for convention season, including Undead Engineers, The Hob-Goblins of Taffsea, French Werewolf Artillery, and more.
- Ambush Alley Games is looking to establish its Pointman program to develop a fan-based demo team for conventions, game stores, and other events.

- Red Shirt Games will be at Gen Con and Origins in 2011. They’re also running a new space combat game with their own rule system, and are selling miniatures they bought from a now-defunct space game to use with their rules.
- SSDC is offering the complete collection of Battlelords books in print and PDF versions for 20% off.
- A rulebook is now available for gaming in David Drake’s Hammer’s Slammers universe. Called The Crucible, it’s officially endorsed by Drake.
- The Virtual Armchair General site announced the release of Corner Kick!, a miniatures game based on soccer.
- Too Fat Lardies has added So Far from God and A la Baionette rules to their product line.
- Unified Theory Games has released Vortex, free basic rules for a customizable skirmish game that can be used with any miniature in any setting.

Ogre Mk. V 3D Counter Previewed
Steve Jackson Games’ site posted an image of a new Ogre Mk. V 3D counter compared to the older 2D counters used in older editions of the game. The preview is intended to show the differences between the components of the newer edition versus the older one. They say they’re still aiming for a 2011 release. In the meantime, you may want to check out John Fleisher’s Ogre Miniatures Blog. He’s done some great stuff with the miniatures and terrain.

ConQuest Miniatures Releases–April 2011
ConQuest Miniatures announced that their new releases are now in stock. All of the Regulars (British and French) as well as the Zindians are available to order. The restock of the Last of the Mohicans pack isn’t available yet, but should be available in 2-3 weeks. The "This Very Ground" rulebook from Ivan Games is also back in stock.

- Alternative Armies posted an image of their new Baron Petrochemicoli miniature for Flintloque and Slaughterloo.
- Catalyst’s Classic Battletech site announced that Technical Readout: 3085 is available in PDF form. They’d been planning to wait for Gen Con but decided to release it now.
- Darkson Designs will have limited quantities of its Basra 1946 product, a campaign supplement for AE-WWII, at Gen Con.
- The Faction Wars site says that all of the weapons should be sculpted by next week, and cast a couple of weeks after that.
- The Flames of War site says that Flames of War Army Kit Bags are back in stock now.
- Games Workshop has posted information about a new issue of White Dwarf (386) and pictures of Daemon Princes miniatures.
- Black Orc Games posted a stat sheet on the rules page for their Bushido Clan for Warband, currently in beta testing.
- Rackham Studio says that 750 people have signed up and downloaded the beta rules for Aarklash Warpack, and that their Summer Sales are ending soon.
- RedBrick Limited says that Nations of Barsaive Volume Two: Serpent River is now available.
- Rusted Heroes has received a studio-painted version of their Cromby Bil, Fusiler miniature for Knights of the Rose and posted pictures of the mini on their site.

- The Age of Eagles web site has released the “Age of Honor” scenario book for Fire & Fury.
- Alternative Armies posted images of its limited edition 1st Moldsk Guard miniatures unit containined sixteen Undead Bog Orc Zombies.
- Ambush Alley Games says that Force on Force and Ambush Alley rulebooks, supplements, and card decks will not be available for purchase after September 30, 2010. They will be taking them off the market pending the release of a new Force on Force omnibus edition to be released in April 2011.
- Arcane Legions has posted its August scenarios and notes on the Roman Ballista figures.
- Baccus 6mm has posted images of its Celts miniatures and Casualty markers.
- Catalyst Game Labs says that its “Hexpack: Lakes and Rivers” product has a “Street Date” of August 4, 2010. This is a flexible map system aid for the BattleTech game system.
- Dream Pod 9‘s official magazine “Gear Up” has just released issue 2 for free. You can download it from DriveThruRPG.
- The Flames of War site announced a price increase on the range starting August 9, 2010.
- Furidion Games posted information about the status of its beta testing for Unbridled Fury 2010 Edition.
