Chapterhouse Doomseer Iyanar Released
Chapterhouse Studios, which specializes in custom sculpts and bits for Warhammer 40,000 and fantasy games, has released its first full metal miniature – Doomseer Iyanar-Duanna. The piece, pictured here, will be sold for $13.50 and is in 28mm scale with a 25mm base. Each one will come with a sword arm, spear arm, spell casting arm, and pointing arm.
Baccus 6mm Releases Napoleonic Russians
The Baccus 6mm web site announced the release of more Napoleonic Russians miniatures. Set NRU30 features several mounted generals. NRU16 features limber and team. Hussars wearing kiwers and the Pavlovski Grenadiers as well. See their web site for more information.
Grenadier Productions Miniatures Released
Grenadier Productions has posted information about several new wargames miniatures products for April 2011, including Chile Generals, Chile Infantry, Royalist Generals, Cavalry, and some variants of these.

- A rulebook is now available for gaming in David Drake’s Hammer’s Slammers universe. Called The Crucible, it’s officially endorsed by Drake.
- The Virtual Armchair General site announced the release of Corner Kick!, a miniatures game based on soccer.
- Too Fat Lardies has added So Far from God and A la Baionette rules to their product line.
- Unified Theory Games has released Vortex, free basic rules for a customizable skirmish game that can be used with any miniature in any setting.
Ogre Mk. V 3D Counter Previewed
Steve Jackson Games’ site posted an image of a new Ogre Mk. V 3D counter compared to the older 2D counters used in older editions of the game. The preview is intended to show the differences between the components of the newer edition versus the older one. They say they’re still aiming for a 2011 release. In the meantime, you may want to check out John Fleisher’s Ogre Miniatures Blog. He’s done some great stuff with the miniatures and terrain.

ConQuest Miniatures Releases–April 2011
ConQuest Miniatures announced that their new releases are now in stock. All of the Regulars (British and French) as well as the Zindians are available to order. The restock of the Last of the Mohicans pack isn’t available yet, but should be available in 2-3 weeks. The "This Very Ground" rulebook from Ivan Games is also back in stock.

- Cactus Game Design is publishing a new product for 2010, “Bible Taboo”. This is a Christian version of the Hasbro title.
- Fantasy Flight Games is offering players a chance to try a new Warhammer adventure “Journey to Black Fire Pass” at a number of participating stores (link may not work properly if you use Firefox). They’ve also published “The Lurker at the Threshold” expansion for Arkham Horror.
- Mark Steere Games has published a new board game, Fractal. This two-player print-and-play game, which can’t end in a draw, requires players to form a path of cells of their own color connecting the two border regions of their color.

- Interaction Point Games has added a Wild West fighting card game “Knock Down, Drag Out” to its online store. They’re offering free shipping in the US, probably through July 11, though the web site says June 11…

- The Arcane Legions web site announced that they’ve updated the special ability list for the game.
- Comfy Chair Games has added two packs of miniatures to their site, the “pig whisperer” pack and the “wild dog pack”.

- Games Workshop posted some information related to the Warhammer launch day, including modeling advice.

- CCP Games, the makers of EVE Online, plan to be at Gen Con Indy in August.
- Electronic Arts is accepting pre-orders for Dead Space 2, expected to release on January 25, 2011. An announcement about the game was posted today. FIFA 11 is expected to release on September 28, 2010. Dragon Age 2 is in development at BioWare’s Edmonton-based studio.
- The Firaxis site says that Civilization V won the Best Strategy Game of E3 award.
- Gamersgate is now offering “The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom” downloadable content pack 1 for $3.49.
- Longbow Games posted its Origins 2010 article yesterday.
- Matrix Games announced yesterday that Close Combat – Last Stand Arnhem is now available, and that there is a “Blitzkrieg Sale” on all Close Combat titles to celebrate the Last Stand Arnhem release. Titles in the line are 10-35% off according to the post (sale priced $19.99 to $35.99).
- Paradox Interactive and Kerberos Productions released a trailer for Sword of Stars 2. More information and a link to the trailer appear on the page linked here.

Stafford Games in the UK has cut the price on Battlefront’s IT113 Semoventa 105/25 tank miniature from GBP 6.50 to 5.85.
Wargames Miniatures, a US distributor for Baueda, Britannia, Essex, FAA, and other miniatures, is offering a variety of miniatures at 5% off. These include (but aren’t limited to) Essex’s DD37 “Orc with sword and shield”, DD38a “Assorted Orcs”, and DD38 “Orc Chieftain”.

- Reaper Miniatures has posted an image of their Savage North poster and announced that the game itself Warlord: Savage North has been sent to the printer. It reportedly contains everything you need to play 8 new factions for the Warlord Second Edition game.
- The Quantum Gothic Wars web site has announced summer shipping delays, saying that orders placed after July 15, 2010, may be delayed before shipping. Orders placed during August 2010 will be shipped starting the first week in September.
- Rackham Studio’s blog has announced the Aarklash Warpack. The post contains a small amount of detail about the addition to the game.
- Catalyst Game Labs announced that it won four awards at Origins 2010.
