Miniatures Games News – August 29, 2011

  • Alternative Armies has released its Flintloque Starter Pack SSP04 Shilling Service – 5028 Bier & Bones for only 30 GBP.  This starter set includes a rulebook, dice, miniatures, and more.
  • Arcane Legions is looking for volunteers to help run demos at PAX  in Seattle.
  • Baccus 6mm has announced that work on Polemos S.P.Q.R., their first set of rules for the pre-gunpowder period, is nearly complete and will soon be off to the printers.
  • Catalyst Game Labs recently released Historical: Reunification War, Strategic Operations, and The Wars of Reaving for the Battletech game universe.
  • Dream Pod 9 announced that Scotty’s Brewhouse, home of several of their Gen Con Indy events, is selling the leftover t-shirts and mugs on their web site.  The shirts are $12, mugs $8.  Shipping adds $5 to the shirt price (not sure about the mug).
  • Furidion Games has announced it is closing its doors.
  • RedBrick Limited has announced the availability of Nations of Barsaive Volume Four in eBook and printed versions.  This book offers Earthdawn gamemasters and players an in-depth look at the troll raider clans that sail Barsaive’s skies.
  • SSDC is currently running a Battlelords special which provides the entire collection of Battlelords books in print and PDF versions at 20% off.

Miniatures Games News – August 8, 2011

  • Dark Age Games posted images of the miniatures they released at Gen Con.
  • Mantic Games is giving away bonus points during August, posted a new army list for Kings of War, and has a Facebook page for their Green Tide event on August 29.
  • Paizo Publishing and WizKids Games have announced Pathfinder Battles, a pre-painted miniatures line that will debut in December.  It’s based on the Pathfinder RPG.
  • Dream Pod 9 has posted its fourth issue of Gear Up.
  • Mongoose Publishing has recently released Age of Treason, Ant Assault, Designers & Dragons, Flashbacks Redux Redux, Lone Wolf 16: The Legacy of Vashna, Stornlands, Traveller Supplement 5-6: The Vehicle Handbook, Sword Worlds, and more.
  • Warhammer Historical has released The Great War – Over the Top by Alex Buchel, which covers the period during the First World War from 1915 to 1918.

Miniatures News – August 2, 2011

  • Sabol Studios has posted pictures of a huge Warhammer fantasy castle they’re working on.
  • Sash and Saber Castings has released several new figures, including 25mm ACW: Falling Casualties and Coehorn Mortar/crew.  They’ve also released 40mm ECW mounted officers, War of 1812 US Rifle Regiment, MD Shako Heads, and Napoleonic "The Retreat from Moscow" French.
  • Scarab Miniatures has added a bunch of upcoming products to their site, all of which will be in stock soon.
  • Soda Pop Miniatures has posted previews of upcoming Relic Knights miniatures, including Initiate Hasami and Navarre Hauer.
  • Stan Johansen Miniatures has added a 20mm Toyota pick-up truck, 28mm painted Jihad minis – US, Insurgents, armed and unarmed civilians, and a painted Doctor Who to the site.
  • Terragnosis has released a female rogue for the Pelatas faction, a 32mm figure they claim is "full of character and detail, cast in white metal".
  • Worldworks Games has released a number of their "Street Props" print-and-play miniatures as the Mayhem Street Props bundle, which includes phone booths, a fire hydrant, parking meters, vending machines, billboards, garbage cans, dumpster, and more.
  • Thomarillion has several new minis available, including a Palisade Bridge, Wooden Bridge, Gallow, Guillotine, Picture Frames, and Fire Pits.
  • Timecast Models has released a set of Vietnam Bunkers in 6mm, 10mm, and 15mm scale, a 6mm Ancient Celtic Village, 10mm Vietnam Shanty Town Shacks, and has put their 15mm Landmark buildings back in production.
  • Troll Forged Miniatures has released Mati’s Dwarf Miner, IceSword’s Cyborgs 2, and information on a breakage test of their Trollcast material that will replace metal in their future product lines.
  • Victory Force Miniatures has recently released a Zombie Horde Set, German Tanker Heads Pack, US Tanker Heads Pack, and SK "Tubby" armed Office worker
  • Victrix Limited has released their metal British Light Dragoons for the Peninsular War 1808-1812.
  • West Wind Productions announced their Secrets of the Third Reich Grand Tournament will be held at Derby World Championships in October 2011.
  • Wargames South lists two new miniatures:  British DD Sherman and British Ram Kangeroo, and says their German Px IV Ausf H is back in production.

Miniatures News – August 1, 2011

  • Kerr and King have released two new products:  15mm Two-Story Town House and 15mm European City in a Box.  Also available are a Steampunk inspired set of 30mm bases that they claim are perfect for Malifaux miniatures.
  • Khurasan Miniatures has posted its 2011 Summer Catalog on its web site.  The line includes a bunch of 15mm Sci-Fi miniatures.
  • Micro Art Studio has released a number of new "massive round bases" in their store, including Ancient, Jungle, and Wraithstone.  They’ve also released a Radar Station terrain piece made of hardfoam, HDF, and resin.
  • The Miniature Building Authority’s web site lists new Ruined Brick Corner Townhouse, Power Plant, Sawmill, Domed Building Set, Buddha, and Expedition Campsite terrain pieces.  As usual, they all look nice.
  • Dark Sword Miniatures has many new products in their online catalog.
  • Mirliton has added a large number of new products to their catalog as well, including several featuring mules, knights, and a war elephant.
  • Musketeer Miniatures has added Arab Horse Archers, GNW Swedish and Russian Cavalry, Late Roman Infantry, and WW1 Russian miniatures to their catalog.
  • Newline Designs has posted images of the miniatures in their British Command in Glengarry line.
  • Ninja Magic reports that due to a glitch, they won’t have their own booth at Gen Con but will be putting products in the GPA Showcase Booth.  They also have their Protector miniature available for purchase.
  • Peter Pig is looking for help identifying some counterfeit wargame pieces they purchased from someone on eBay (along with counterfeited copies of their own products!), so that they can work with the other injured parties in prosecuting the individual who counterfeited them.  An image of the counterfeited works is on their site.
  • Pico Armor has added a number of new miniature military vehicles and train tracks to their product line.
  • Pig Iron Productions has added some new System Trooper miniatures to their product line, along with a set of Ruined Walls on sprues.
  • Pulp Figures has added several new miniatures to their product line, including Highland Light Infantry Rifles, Thuggee Stranglers, Sgt. Prestown’s Canoe, and Trapper Canoe.
  • The Raging Heroes web site recently added information about some miniatures they’re working on for the Monsters of Good and Evil series, as well as for a Sci-Fi themed Asharah game similar to Fantasy Asharah.
  • Reaper Miniatures reports that they have been nominated for an ENnie award at Gen Con for their Mousling Heroes Boxed Set.
  • Red Box Games has added a new mini, Kyrie Brighthelm, to their product line.

Miniatures News – July 31, 2011

  • Finger and Toe Models posted slideshows for their terrain pieces called the Multi-Story Warehouse, Factory, and Slum City.
  • First Legion is taking pre-orders for Buford’s Cavalry, Stalingrad Opel Blitz, Passengers, Supplies Set, Figures Loading Supplies, Austrian Hahn Grenadier, Imperial Roman, and more.
  • Forge World is taking orders for Elspeth Von Draken on Carmine Dragon, Salamanders Venerable Dreadnought Bray’Arth Ashmantle (Body), and Left Dreadfire Close Combat Arm.
  • Four A Miniatures has added a Bandaged Head, Golem, Bloated Zombie, Zombie with Axe, Zombie in Suit, Rasta Enforcer, Tophat, Alexis,Death Cherub, and other miniatures to their product line.

  • Garrison Miniatures has added Byzantines to their 25mm Medieval line and Khmer to their 28mm Medieval line.
  • Gary Hunt Miniatures has released 3 new Beastmen heroes, a Marquesan Chief, and some pre-painted 54mm toy soldiers.
  • GHQ has Micro Squad: The 1:1 Scale Game on sale for $19.95, and has added PB Danton, BB Lion, Pz III L w/Side Skirts, Pz III N w/Side Skirts, MiG 15, AMX 10RC, and BMP-1 miniatures to their product catalog.
  • Impact Miniatures is raising funds via the Kickstarter service to produce their Scotlings team of miniatures.  Those who help fund it can get up to 40% off the miniatures when produced.
  • Iron Wind Metals has made their original eight Protomechs, previously only available in packs of five, available individually via their online store. This includes the Centaur, Gorgon, Harpy, Hydra, Minotaur, Roc, Satyr, and Siren.
  • Irregular Miniatures has added items to their 42mm Deutsche Homage accessories range, their 42mm Deutsche Homage bodies range, the heads range, and the horses range.  Pictures are posted as well.

Miniatures News – July 30, 2011

  • Armorcast reports that their workshop has been flooded twice with 6-10 inches of water and that they’re working hard to clean it up, but ask that customers be patient with them while they do so.
  • [Game Deal] Armorum and Aquila (A&A) Miniatures is running a July and August 2011 special offer.  UK orders will get free postage.  Orders in Europe will be charged 6% of the total order cost, and the rest of the world will pay 10% of the total order cost.
  • [Game Deal] Artizan Designs has three items on special:  SS001 – Waffen SS Panzergrenadier Platoon, USP001 – US Airborne Platoon, and AD-01 – Arthurian Armoured Warband.
  • Baker Company has a number of new terrain products listed for July 2011, including a Normandy Townhouse, Normandy Hotel, Normandy Bunker, Normandy Farmhouse, and Normandy Barn ("ruined" and non-ruined versions of most are listed).
  • Battlescape lists a large number of new products, including some farm carts, a Fiat 621 Ambulance, German Panzer MkIV Tank, and more.
  • Baueda Wargames has posted some pictures of their Norman Milites figures.
  • Black Cat Bases has several new releases as well, including Investigators, a Professor, Skeleton Roman Legionaries, Lab Floor base inserts, Brain Spiders, and more.
  • Black Scorpion Miniatures has re-launched their Fantasy Football Teams line.
  • Black Tree Design has posted a Summer Clearance Blowout special.
  • The Honourable Lead Boiler Suit Company has announced that they will be discontinuing their 10-year-old "Modern" range of figures. They will replace them later in the year with a new "Ultra Modern" range.
  • Black Orc Games has released two new products. The first is a miniature called The Gunman and a 25mm round base that looks like Wood Planks.
  • Boot Hill Miniatures has posted images of the greens for their Mexican sentries, casualties, and New Orleans Greys in their gallery.
  • Byzantium Models has posted images of the first models in their Byzantium line of Arabic buildings. 
  • Combat Zone Chronicles (CoZoChron) has posted articles recently on plastic trooper rearming, laser-cut wood and scraps, resin buildings, and a Plasticville conversion.
  • Copplestone Castings has added 15mm Barbarian Heroes, Medium C ‘Hornet’ Female Tank, Medium C ‘Hornet’ Male Tank with 6pdr Gun, and Mini-Sub miniatures to their miniatures lines.
  • Corvus Belli has added some new miniatures to their 28mm Infinity line, including Order Sergeants, Djanbazans, Reverend Custodiers, and Skiavoros.
  • Critical Mass Games has added many new miniatures to their product line, including the Praesentia Drone Vehicle range, three Praesentia Ancient Leaders, and buildings for the Kaamados Dominion.
  • [Game Deal] Crusader Miniatures is offering a discount on its CRU010 – Crusader Rules – Rules for Games of Ancient Warfare.
  • Dark Sword Miniatures will be bringing a number of never-before-seen miniatures to Gen Con next week, and a new Miniature Painting DVD set.
  • [Game Deal] Dave Graffam Models is offering a free 23-page booklet with practical advice and tips for improving paper modeling.
  • Elheim Figures has posted images of most of their new product ranges.  They’ve recently added US Seal special operations squads, Cold War Russians, and others.
  • Empress Miniatures has added some heavy weapons units to their British infantry lines. They also have Ambush Alley’s "Enduring Freedom" available for pre-order.
  • Steel Crown Productions has added Guardian Lancers, a Munitions Pack, and Guild Bounty Hunter Snipers miniatures to their product catalog.

Miniatures Game News – July 30, 2011

  • Ambush Alley Games announced that they will debut a new science fiction miniatures game, Tomorrow’s War, at the Fall Recruits  event in September in Lee’s Summit, MO.  The Enduring Freedom companion book for Force on Force focuses on activity in Afghanistan during 2001-2010.  Elheim Figures will be releasing a line of 20mm miniatures for use with the Force on Force system.
  • Catalyst Game Labs has posted their Gen Con 2011 Signing Schedule for the booth.  This year, artist Alex Iglesias, author Steve Mohan, author and assistant developer Ben Rome, artist Klaus Scherwinski, artist Florian Stitz, and others will be on hand.
  • Cipher Studios says that the next wave of Hell Dorado miniatures have been shipped off to distributors, and that all outstanding pre-orders and distributor orders for the Hell Dorado book have shipped.
  • The Classic Battletech site announced that the Periphery PDF is available.  This Field Report describes the state of the various Periphery states in the wake of the events described in Jihad Hot Spots: Terra.
  • Crooked Dice announced the availability of the 7TV Summer Special, a 48-page reference containing new special guests, extras, animals, episodes, weapons, and the Ratings War.  They also have an 18-card Event and Gadget set to add to existing decks.
  • Dream Pod 9 has announced that while they are away at Gen Con they will run a Summer Sale on their online store until August 9, 2011.  For ever $50 of products purchased, they are throwing in a free $10 or less gift product of your choice with the order.  If the order exceeds $100, you can select a $20 gift, etc.  See their site for full details.
  • Mantic Games is having a "Name the Warpath Starter Set" competition.  The winner will actually name the set and win the first set off the production line, signed by Alessio Cavatore, and be mentioned in the credits.
  • Mongoose Publishing posted an article about their participation at Gen Con.  They’ll be showing off a new RPG history book, running demo games of A Call to Arms: Noble Armada, and more.
  • Privateer Press says that its Gen Con event schedule  is "shaping up to be the best ever". Their tournament schedule will include WARMACHINE, HORDES, and Monsterpocalypse.  More details are on their site.
  • Wargames Factory has posted a preview of the cover art for their Shock Troop Heavy Weapons box.
  • Warlord Games has released a supplement to their Black Powder game, entitled The Last Argument of Kings.  As of this writing, their site says that all orders receive an exclusive figure, the Black Watch Highlander, that’s featured on the cover of the book.

Miniatures Games News for July 22, 2011

  • Aberrant Games has released some new miniatures for the Rezolution game, including the HPT and Classic Dravani Executor Vassal.  Aberrant was kind enough to provide me with a free copy of the rulebook during Origins 2011.
  • Blacksburg Tactical Research Center (BTRC) posted an interesting article on how they are using a new system for "combat time" in their upcoming EABA v2 game currently in development.
  • Catalyst Game Labs will have some Doug Chaffee original artwork for purchase at Gen Con 2011.
  • Cipher Studios will be giving away a free miniature at Gen Con Indy 2011, either a LE Khaine or Officer version of the Traveler with no purchase necessary.
  • Dream Pod 9 is giving away a free Arena Two-Player Starter Box.  See their site to enter the drawing.
  • Black Orc Games has released The Bearded Lady MiniSculpt and Harem Girl MiniSculpt.
  • Mantic Games is offering free shipping during July and has some sales positions available.
  • Majestic Twelve Games has released Distant Armada, a sourcebook for Starmada: The Universal Game of Starship Combat.
  • Rattlehead Games has a new card game from Samurai Game Labs called Zombie High School, Pig Iron Productions’ System Trooper Sniper Team, and updated the Aberrant section of their catalog.
  • RedBrick LLC has licensed the Demonworld and Empires game properties from FASA Corporation and Ral Partha Europe Ltd.
  • The official Hammer’s Slammers site says that they are offering a boot camp for the game in London in September.
  • VBAM Games has posted an update about their plans for the second edition of the Victory By Any Means (VBAM) game.
  • The Warhammer Historical site says that Waterloo and Gladiator are available now.
  • Warlord Games has released a number of new products, including the Bolt Action Puma Armoured Car, Architects of War Dark Ages Terrain, and more.  A couple of deals are being offered also, one for the Dacian Army and one for Polish.
  • WizKids announced three new cards for the Quarriors game.

 

Miniatures Gaming News–July 7 2011

  • Black Orc Games has released two new MiniSculpts:  the Dwarf Skeleton and the Horror Stump.  They also released a 20mm square brick base.
  • Furidion Games posted a status report for Unbridled Fury, promising the print edition “very soon indeed”.
  • All the King’s Men Toy Soldiers is having a sale from now until the end of July.  See their site for details.
  • Alternative Armies posted images of their Dwarves of Brewswick miniatures.
  • Darkson Designs has added three new items to their webstore, the Wendigo, Hell Host, and Walking Tank miniatures.
  • Blacksburg Tactical Research Center (BTRC) is now accepting Paypal for their products purchased through their web site.
  • Crocodile Games has put its Wargods of Aegyptus on sale for $10, a $19.95 discount.
  • The Flames of War site has posted updates about its European Grand Tournament, Battlefront TV, and more.
  • Warlord Games has added several new products to their range, including a Plastic Roman Scorpion Batter, Imperial Roman Legionnaires, Bolt Action SU-76, Roman slave girls, and more.
  • Privateer Press reports that demand for its Warmachine and HORDES games is so high that its passed their production ability and they’re having to expand and take other measures to ensure adequate supplies to players.
  • The Virual Armchair General is now offering a variety of “little” products to go with their Funny Little Wars game.
  • Wargames Factory is offering Persian Infantry, Persian Cavalry, Skeleton Warriors, and a number of 20mm bases “at a competitive price” on their site.
  • Paizo and WizKids revealed details of their Pathfinder Beginner Box Heroes fantasy miniature set, due out in October.
  • Cipher Studios has begin shipping its new Anima releases.
  • The Honourable Lead Boiler Suit Company announced that it is discontinuing its Cape Frontier War, Old West, Vignettes, and Paper Street Soap Company figure ranges due to rising costs for pewter.
  • Mongoose Publishing has released books and miniatures in numbers too great to list here.  Product releases include items for The Third Imperium, Ant Assault, Judge Dredd, Paranoia, and more.

New Battletech and Shadowrun Street Dates

According to the Catalyst Game Labs web site, the Battletech Technical Readout: 3058 Upgrade reprint hit the street on June 8, 2011.  This supplement has been fully updated to circa 3070 and is a Catalyst-branded reprint with a new cover and including all appropriate errata (but no other changes).

The following items will release on July 6, 2011:

  • Shadowrun Spy Games “brings Shadowrun players to the espionage-filled city of Denver, where secrets are bought and sold, and sometimes the price is paid in blood.”  This book provides the setting information, gear statistics, and game rules players need to dive into the Sixth World spycraft.
  • Battletech HexPack: Cities and Roads is a flexible map system aid for the BattleTech game system.  Designed for use in conjunction with other pre-printed map sheets, it contains two ready-to-play scenarios.
  • Shadowrun Arsenal:  This sourcebook covers everything a runner team needs, from weapons and armor to advanced electronics and spy toys to the latest state-of-the-art drones.  It is a corrected third printing, and other than the corrections the cover is the only difference.

The following items are planned for July 20 release:

  • BattleTech Era Report: 3062 describes the state of the Inner Sphere and the Clans at a divisive period in BattleTech history.  Presented as a general overview of the period rather than a focused report, the book includes descriptions of major factions, notable personalities, military forces, etc.
  • Shadowrun Runner’s Toolkit is a well-stocked arsenal all runners should have.  It includes a deluxe four-panel gamemaster’s screen, On the Run – one of Shadowrun’s most popular introductory adventures, 4 laminated maps, a poster of the Sixth World Seattle skyline, and more.

  • BradyGames has released a strategy guide for Duke Nukem Forever.
  • Gale Force Nine (GF9) has released new HeroClix Battle Maps for use with WizKids’ game.
  • Jon Brazer Enterprises has posted pictures from PaizoCon.
  • Maxmini posted an article about using CAD software to design models for gaming.
  • Offworld Designs has their Gen Con and Origins logo items for sale and have added several new shirt and bag designs.
  • Q-Workshop has added a new black Call of Cthulu dice bag and The Witcher 2 Dice to their product catalog.
  • Sabol Designs, which produces cases for transporting miniatures, posted a customer testimonial about a group of Warhammer 40K minis that survived a category 5 tornado inside their case.
  • The Terrain Guy has a number of items on sale.

Miniatures Gaming News Blitz

In the interest of timely sharing of miniatures game news I am going to “blitz” out a series of short blurbs directing you to the more interesting items I’ve found this go-round, with links to the source pages so you can read the details there.  Unfortunately, I don’t have enough time today to complete the abstracting of the news items below:

  • Dream Pod 9 recently released Heavy Gear Blitz! Army Starter Kits and attended Anime North 2011 in Toronto.
  • Eureka Miniatures announced that French Light Infantry miniatures for Wars of the Revolution are on the way.
  • Battlefront Miniatures, makers of Flames of War, have launched a Battlefront TV video show, published Infantry Aces Result Sheets and Command Charts, talked about how to field a Soviet Heavy Tank Killer Company, and more.
  • Games Workshop has added some new Dark Eldar miniatures.
  • Great Escape Games in the UK posted a list of events and dates they’ll be visiting.
  • Ground Zero Games announced that Intro Fleet, Starter Fleet, and Mega Fleet packs are back up on their store in the Full Thrust section.  They’ve also re-listed the Mystery Fleet, Ravagers Pirate Ship Pack, and other news.
  • Black Orc Games posted images of some new MiniSculpts and bases.
  • The Kingdom Death Shop lists four new miniatures, the White Speaker, Wet Nurse, Pinup White Speaker, and Preacher Pinup.
  • Mantic Games announced that June 20, 2011, is the last chance to get their metal miniatures before the rising cost of metals forces them to raise their prices.
  • Mongoose Publishing is having a Noble Armada tournament on July 16.  They also released Spinward Encounters for The Third Imperium.
  • The Orcs in the Webbe site has produced a digital edition of the Flintloque Magazine from the spring of 1996.
  • Paizo announced Bestiary 3 and Advanced Race Guide hardcovers for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.  They’re also producing Pathfinder pre-painted miniatures in conjunction with WizKids Games.
  • Privateer Press recently released the Long Gunner Unit for WARMACHINE and posted their Privateer Insider update on June 16.
  • RAFM Miniatures and Games announced their participation in Origins 2011.  They also posted a PDF of Catan Vikings and a price reduction on their Remnant miniatures.
  • Rattlehead Games has posted an image of the Ninja Magic “Protector” class ship from the Hyperdine Astronautics line.  It looks rather a lot like one of the Battlestar Galactica ships.
  • RedBrick LLC has released hardcover, softcover, and electronic versions of the Defiler’s Curse supplement for Earthdawn.  Burning Desires, scheduled for a July 2011 release in hardcopy, is available as an electronic download now.
  • Spartan Games in the UK has added several new Battle Groups to their product line, including Prussian Armoured Battle Group, FSA Armoured, Britannia Armoured, and Blazing Sun Armoured.
  • TooFatLardies has released their 2011 Summer Special, which is 129 pages of articles, rules, scenarios, terrain building, and more for wargamers.
  • Wargames Factory has a Father’s Day Sale on the Orc Warband set, offering it at 30% off until Friday June 24.
  • Warhammer Historical has Kampfgruppe Normandy articles and downloads available.
  • Warlord Games Ltd. in the UK is looking for a graphic designer.  They’ve also previewed a bunch of new miniatures on the site since the last time  I checked.
  • WizKids Games has recently released updates on the Baron Strucker HeroClix mini, announced a change in the Captain America release date, and more.

Cipher Ships Next Wave of Hell Dorado Releases

The Cipher Studios web site recently posted pictures of the next wave of Hell Dorado miniatures to be released.

This includes the Succubus, Jaws of the Deep, Damned Rank and File, Pillar of the Faith – Halberd, and Arquebusers.

New Black Orc Bases and Mini-Sculpts

Black Orc Games has released two new mini-sculpts recently and two different bases.  The mini-sculpts include “Sissy L’Amore” (a femme fatale looking character) and Typhian (a sort of warrior creature with sword and shield).  The new bases are a 20mm square brick base and a 25mm square wooden plank base.  For pictures and more information, see the Black Orc site.

New Mini-Sourcebook for Battletech

BattleTech: Era Digest: Age of WarThe Classic Battletech site announced a new mini-sourcebook for Battletech.  According to the announcement, this book “explores the pivotal developments of the Sphere-wide fighting that ultimately led to the birth of the Star League, featuring a glimpse of life in the BattleTech universe before the age of the BattleMech, the rise of neo-feudalism, and a look at the evolution of combat from the savagery of ‘total warfare’ to the chivalry of MechWarriors.”

Gale Force Nine Elven Tower

BB531_Elven_Tower_contents_500wGale Force Nine has added a new product to their Battlefield in a Box line of painted tabletop gaming terrain.  The latest entry is the Elven Tower.  The tower is almost 17 inches tall, 4.25” round at the base, and the doorway peaks are just under 3 inches high.  It is currently priced at $50 in the GF9 Online Store.

Cygnar Field Mechaniks for Warmachine Available

Privateer Press announced the release of the Cygnar Field Mechaniks miniatures for their Warmachine game.  The field mechaniks brave the front lines to make crucial repairs to units under fire.  Each mechanik can perform repairs on damaged warjacks and keep them in the fight.  A player may field up to 3 field mechaniks for each warcaster in a Cygnar army.

These 30mm base size miniatures are blister packed and have an MSRP of $24.99 per set of 6.
