Today’s computer and console based games news:
- Matrix Games announced an update to the War in the Pacific – Admiral’s Edition game.
- Paradox Interactive announced that gamers can play Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West for free this weekend on Steam.
- Square Enix has created a teaser site for Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together.
- Electronic Arts says that the new online game “Rhythm” by teenager Dan Slutz has gone live and is available free of charge. EA also announced that it has become the Official Sports Technology Partner of the Premier League (soccer). They also posted pre-order listings for The Sims: Late Night, expected for release on October 26, 2010.
- Microsoft’s Games for Windows site is offering World in Conflict: Complete Edition, Dawn of Discovery, and Sid Meier’s Civilization IV: Complete on their site. The games can be purchased and downloaded directly from them.
- THQ announced Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet, the sequel to their popular Marvel Hero Squad product for XBox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, and other systems.
- GamersGate has added several new titles to its store, including Doggies, Dennis Adventures, Trucker 2, Crazy Bunny, City Bus, MegaDrive Genesis Series 1 Complete Pack, Creeper World, and Simon the Sorcerer Classic Pack.
- Capcom has announced the Dead Rising 2: Case Zero release date and price. It will sell for 400 MS Points and be available for download on August 31, 2010 via XBox Live.
