Of the 823 board game sites I’m monitoring, the following had news items for today:
- Bruno Faidutti’s site contains information about the Steve Jackson Games “Spooks” card game, Queen Games’ “Fresco“, and says that Asmodee’s “Dixit” has won the 2010 Game of the Year award in Germany.
- Fragor Games says it’s working on its 2010 release for Essen and that Savannah Trails will be republished by Kosmos for release in September 2010.
- Aleken Games announced that its “Rock and Roll Triviologies” and “Country Music Triviologies” games were “Best of Show” at the National Association of Music Merchants in Nashville.
- Family Games Inc. announced that a new title, Conniption, is coming soon. This game looks a bit like Connect-Four.
- Eagle Games is taking pre-orders for several new titles, including Bridgetown Races, Railways of the World The Card Game, Charon Inc., Birds on a Wire, and Defenders of the Realm. Their Cornucopia game is now reportedly in stock.
- Winning Moves Games has released “Booray“, a card game that originated in France in the 1800′s and is popular in Louisiana.
- The Ragnar Brothers site says that pre-orders for MMP’s Angola game have reached 484. 500 are needed to start production.
