Precis Intermedia Games to Publish Tombstones n’ Tumbleweeds in PDF

According to the Precis Intermedia Games (PIG) web site, they are bringing the former Game Werks title “Tombstones n’ Tumbleweeds” back in PDF format. This Old West miniatures game covers riding, shooting, fighting, and other frontier activities. PIG says you’ll “create colorful, distinct ‘Old West’ characters with a roleplaying flavor to fill your posse and head out to start collecting rewards, pull off heists, or restore law and order… the possibilities are limited only by your imagination.”

The PDF file contains a rulebook with character and reference sheets, full-color area-effect templates, and 270 situation counters. It requires a six-sided die, a deck of standard playing cards, 25-30mm miniatures, two or more players aged 13+, a ruler or measuring tape, and scissors or a hobby knife (for preparing counters and templates).

The currently-available PDF is the first-edition version. A second edition is reportedly in the works.
