The Pursuit of von Spee puts you in command of either the German East Asiatic Squadron or the various Allied fleets of the Indian and Pacific Oceans during the first months of World War I. Admiral von Spee led his small fleet of cruisers across the Pacific, wreaking havoc among Allied shipping and sending the Royal Navy into a panic. His epic cruise took him from the shores of China all the way to the frigid waters of the South Atlantic, where he and his men met their end at the Battle of the Falklands in December 1914. The Pursuit of von Spee uses an innovative fog-of-war system, ensuring that neither the Allied nor the German player is aware of the whereabouts of his or her foe.
