Killer Bee Software published the following cryptic announcement on their web site November 17, 2007:
Yeah, there is some big news coming about Empire Deluxe Enhanced Edition , but it cannot be announced yet. Hopefully it can be announced soon. Definitely check back. I have logged a very brief status report but it does not say too much. The holidays are almost upon us, and ‘Santa Sarge’ will soon make an appearance. Maybe he will have the news.
