September 21st, 2007 — A few important notes, on October 15th, 2007 we will be removing all the Jovian Chronicles miniatures from sale in preparation for the Jovian Chronicles Blitz! release (February 2008) announced earlier. We will also be removing the Gear Krieg and Luft Krieg miniatures from sale on the same date. So order now, before they are all gone. We have also removed, as of today, some of the older Heavy Gear miniatures (mainly the Earth minis)in preparation for thier repackaging into the Heavy Blitz Product Line. We will be updating the online store next Friday with these repackaged miniatures and a few new releases.
The new miniature releases of the Kodiak and King Cobra that are now available for order on the HG Blitz Online Store. The Retailer and Distributor Excel Order Sheets have been updated with the new releases. We have also revised the release schedule a bit, with the next book, Shields of Freedom – Armies of the Badlands (DP9-9033), scheduled for Late September release now. We have also, pushed back the release of Lances of Destiny – Earth Invasion (DP9-9034) to March 2008 and the next book after that to May 2008. This is being done to allow for a revised version of the Heavy Gear Blitz! Rulebook to be released in November, to be called Heavy Gear Blitz! Rulebook – Locked & Loaded (DP9-9996). Locked & Loaded will be twice the size of the first rulebook at 160 pages plus counter sheet and retail for $29.95 with lots of new matterial added, that we think is needed. First we will be adding the Quick Start Rules to the start of the rules section to get players started even faster. Plus, we have taken all your feedback and questions to heart and will be adding a lot more rules examples, to make it as clear as possible. We’ll also be adding a miniatures assemble tips and painting section, with 8 pages of color, showing how to paintup the 3 main armies. We will be adding a Players League startup section with rankings and information on how to run a local league with our Pod Squad teams and online support. The rulebook will now include a starting campaign of the Interpolar War, where the North, South, and Peace River get to battle for control of Terra Nova, designed to work with our league play. The additions will make it easier for new players getting into the game and get leagues started for all the players.
