Precis Intermedia has acquired the intellectual property rights to the Mean Streets roleplaying game line, which takes the best and bleakest aspects of film noir, presenting a concept with which to role-play cynical private eyes, unscrupulous gangsters, and dangerous femme fatales as portrayed in film noir from the 1940s and better part of the 1950s. Currently available in its original form as published by Deep7 (available here, with system conversions available here), future editions are also planned as a noir add-on for Two-Fisted Tales and as a genreDiversion stand-alone game.
