BattleCorps.com Addresses Pre-order Concerns
Everett, WA, July 27, 2007—BattleCorps.com is well aware of the concerns of customers over pre-orders from the BattleCorps BattleShop, specifically over two products that have not shipped, despite their pre-order status for long months.
“The transition of the Classic BattleTech license to InMediaRes Productions LLC. (the parent company of BattleCorps.com) has not been without problems,” said David M. Stansel-Garner, Materials and Operations Manager for BattleCorps.com (and its sister company, Catalyst Game Labs). “One of the most problematic issues was the delay of printed product, some of which were already at the printers before the transition began, hence why they went on pre-order sale. While we are in the final stages of resolving such delays—with the release of almost half a dozen Classic BattleTech products in August—we still need to address the pre-orders that occurred during this time. We want to make sure that those who pre-ordered know that despite these extenuating circumstances, we appreciate their business and hope to continue to see such business in the future.”
Anyone that pre-ordered either the Classic BattleTech TechManual print book or the Warriors: BattleCorps Anthologies Vol. 1 print novel before July 1st, 2007 will be credited $5.00 on their BattleCorps BattleShop account, which can be used towards the purchase of any product available through the BattleCorps BattleShop.
